Rockaway Beach Proves to be a Great Place to Start a Business

Rockaway Beach, Missouri has often been looked down upon, but I would like to highlight some of the positive things Rockaway Beach offers to possible new business owners.  One of the first things Rockaway now offers is new leadership.  Rockaway must give credit to mayor Larry Cline for his expertise in leadership and community development.  Larry has led the way in making Rockaway more professional in how it conducts and handles city business.  The current administration is making sure the much needed sewer line replacement is going to get done.  Larry Cline's leadership and administration are doing their best to make Rockaway a desirable place for new business owners.
Second, Rockaway Beach offers new business owners a beautiful surrounding.  Many will agree that Rockaway Beach is nestled in one of the most beautiful areas of the Ozarks.  Main street sits right on the edge of Lake Taneycomo.  The available business spaces for rent face Lake Taneycomo with magnificent views of the Ozarks.  Rockaway attracts visitors because of the sights alone.  Third, Rockaway Beach has rich history.  Many know Rockaway Beach because it was the place to go before Branson ever was.  Everywhere I go people tell me of stories and memories they created in Rockaway Beach.  What many might not know is businesses in Branson would come to Rockaway Beach to distribute and advertise for people to come to Branson. This took place when Rockaway was the happening place.  Rockaway Beach is known nation wide and has the opportunity to offer Branson goers a unique experience.
Fourth, Rockaway Beach has great location.  Rockaway is 7 miles from Branson, MO.  According to the
Branson Chamber of Commerce  website, Branson averages eight million visitors a year.  Rockaway is located on Lake Taneycomo and is a few short minutes down the lake from Branson Landing.  Visitors can reach Rockaway by car or by boat.
Finally,  Probably the most important is, low cost.  With the renovation of some of the downtown businesses, owners are looking for renters.  They are very flexible small town people that are willing to work with anyone.  The cost for rent on main street/lakefront property is very reasonable.  Some owners are even willing to do progressive rent to help you get your business off the grounds.
Rockaway is a great place to live, and I believe Rockaway is the place to start a business for those who are looking for a great opportunity.  Look around and see if other towns offer these benefits for new business owners and sit only 7 miles from eight million visitors a year.
