Beach Looks Forward to a Great
2010

Rockaway Beach, Missouri anticipates
an exciting year in 2010. The year will kick off with the
annual Rockaway Beach talent show March 6th. Rockaway seeks to
bring back the famous Sunrise service and breakfast by pulling area
churches together for the April 4th celebration. Bridge of
Faith community, Forsyth Methodist, and Forsyth Presbyterian
churches have already committed to be a part of this celebration on
the beautiful beach of lake Taneycomo. Wrapping up April will
be, the annual spring campground flea market sale on the 24th.
May 14th thru the 16th is the Mountain Man Rendezvous.
This event continues to grow and brings rich history and great
learning opportunities. The hydroplane racers square off once
again in Rockaway on June 5th and 6th. This is a must see
event for all racing fans. Be sure to get a room early as the
resorts begin to fill up for this fun weekend. Rockaway Beach
is always a great place to spend on July 4th. This year looks
to be a fun filled weekend with it all wrapping up with one of the
loudest and best firework shows in the area. Many more events
to follow, but at least you can begin to plan the first part of your
trips to Rockaway. We look forward to seeing you in Rockaway
